I keep seeing editorials that call any healthcare reform “Obamacare”. Usually the position of commentators using the term are opposed to any reform. While we Americans did elected President Obama in part because he promised to support healthcare reform he has not created a plan but appropriately left that up to the legislature. Several healthcare plans or elements of a plan are in circulation. The text major bills actually processing through Congress are found at:

Since these bills are the product of our bipartisan legislative process it is certainly a misnomer to characterize them as Obama’s. Please go to the text of the bills for information on which to base your questions and suggestions to your legislators.
