Pawlenty: Trying to end healthcare justice in Minnesota

In less than six weeks GAMC, Minnesota's General Assistance Medical Care program for the poorest and sickest Minnesotans will end at the hand of Governor Pawlenty. He has vetoed the extension of the program passed overwhelmingly by the State Senate (46 to 16) and the State House of representatives (125 to 9) a few weeks ago. If this cruel veto is not overridden we will take two giant steps backwards in health care justice in our State.

Please call or Email your State Representative and Senator and insist they vote to override the veto.
